Oh yeah. Anyone want to pretend we're reading a book together?

I just got Mercy by Toni Morrison out of the library. I might read it in the next few days.

Is Mercy worth reading? I have been reading a bunch of the best seller types like Baldacci and Kellerman. Actually, the one Ed is reading now sounds good to me. I've been so busy with good things and bad (a friend died) and Molly had surgery today on her cruciate ligament in her knee so I'll probably hang out a little more at home to help her and I'll be able to read more then. (sorry about the run-on sentence) Let's really find a great one to read together again.

"Is Mercy worth reading?"
1. It's only 167 pp, has big type and wide margins, and is set in Maryland.
2. I've only read one other T. Morrison book (The Bluest Eye) and it was wonderful.
3. It's not trash (like some of the stuff I read, eg, Supremeless Court by Christopher Buckley) so it won't be wasted time.
4. Is there any "worthless" reading?
