Today is Ryan's 2nd birthday...

So I thought you might indulge me by allowing me to add a photo of him!
Paula (otherwise known as BUBBA -- I really need to buy that pickup truck...)
P.S. His shirt says "I'm listening to Led Zeppelin with my Daddy"

Hey Paula
1. Such a happy, adorable little boy!
2. Yes, to the Susan Vreeland book. I'll find a copy and start reading soon.
3. I'm sorry you actually bought a copy of the Stella Rimington book. I hope it was a cheap used copy at least. On the other hand, it's always good to help keep publishers in business. It won't happen in our lifetime but I do worry that books may become virtual one day.
3. Looks like you figured out how to put pictures in a post. I don't think it's possible to put pictures in comments.
4. Since you've got all those adorable grandbabies why don't you start a blog so you can add new pictures from time to time? I would certainly read it....
5. I'm still processing the fact that you're going to an AARP convention. Maybe it's too early in the AM for me but it's just not computing. Am I in denial?

1.Thanks! He's so much fun!
2. I'll probably finish Away today (I actually do like it!) so I'll start the Vreeland book today or tomorrow.
3. The Rimington book hasn't come in yet so now I probably won't buy it unless you tell me it's great. As for virtual books, I was thinking about Kindle and the Sony versions. I have friends who have them and totally love them because they can travel with thirty books and it weighs almost nothing. I'm still having problems with books on tape! I just love books: the feel of them, the smell of them, turning the pages... Also, with the books on tape, I'm afraid my experience will be tainted by the reader's interpretation.
3.(Interesting way to count, Pam) I did figure out how to put a photo in a post but not in a comment like your art show photo is.
4.My friend Marian has a Flickr account with photos of Ryan, Maya, and Allison. You could browse that if you like and not have to read "adorable" sayings from babies who can barely speak.
5.I know! Crazy, eh? I think most of the people who attend are our age rather than our parents' age. We are now our parents -- how scary is that?

ahhhh...now I get it. You want to know how to insert a picture on your PROFILE. You can put a picture on your profile this way.

1. Log on to your Google account. Your user name for that account is PaulaGreg@comcast.net
2. In the upper right you will see 4 tabs: PaulaGreg@comcast.net, iGoogle, My account, and Sign out.
3. Go to “My Account”
4. On the right you'll see My products. Go to Blogger.
5. On the left you'll see 3 tabs (or maybe just 2): View profile, edit profile, and (maybe) edit picture.
6. Go to “edit profile" and it should prompt you to download a picture. Which will be very tiny.

I have about 50% confidence that these instructions will work.

Let me know.
Pam
