A few days ago or more I stopped reading at page 114, for no particular reason. Other reading, and other stuff, interfered I guess. But tonight I will resume reading. At least that's the plan. Hope others are still engaged in the story and plowing ahead.

I haven't had much time the last few days either. And with Passover coming up, next week may be slower. But I'll keep trying. Having had the dope vision I'm interested to see whether/how it develops. I expect to take time to read on Shabbat.

Good, so at least you and I are on the same page, so to speak. Larry may have finished by now.
BTW, I also vote for The Book Thief as our next book, which I think means it has 3 votes. Do you think we can just decide now to make it official? That way we can all order the book--in English or Hebrew--or find copies and be ready to start reading when we're done w/ L,B.

Yes. Let's make it official. How soon do you think we should be able to start it: mid-June?
Mid-June sounds right. If we continue w/ 50 pp a week, we should be done w/ L,B by the weekend of June 7.
