Who's in the boat?

Great river picture Larry. What do you hear when you're drifting in such a place? I imagine intermittent deep low loud bird calls from far away.
And no rustling of trees.

That's Kate in front of me. Two crazy British women in front of her. Spending time with them was like being in a Monty Python movie in the jungle.

Can be very quiet if you are drifting. Otherwise it's the sound of the oars, insects noise and lots of birds calling. Or, the guide may say, "Quick, look up. It's a stinky turkey."
